Oldest man marks 113th birthday
Europe's oldest man, Henry Allingham, has celebrated becoming a teenager for the second time around as he marked his 113th birthday. Mr Allingham joined family members and representatives of the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force for a party in his honour at HMS President in London. His birthday marks another landmark for a man who is the last surviving founder member of the RAF and whose life has spanned three centuries and six monarchs.
Congratulations, Henry. Quite an achievement.
Two years ago, Henry gave us the key to long life. So what did he attribute it to?
Henry Allingham puts the secret of his long life down to cigarettes, whisky, wild women and a healthy sense of humour.
That's the righteous fucked, then. Not much box-ticking to be had by the low hemline hectors there.
Did I mention that Henry is Europe's oldest man?

Well done Henry. Looking forward to celebrating your 114th, from another healthy long-living smoker.
Must admit, I do like my toddies as well!
I put my long life down to a little bit of everything - variety has always been said to be the spice of life, and as long as it is in moderation, then it's fine.
