None so blind

They just don't get it, do they?

Official figures show about a third of young Scots aged 16 to 24 smoke, a level not seen for a decade despite the introduction of the smoking ban.
Despite?

Try "as a result of".

Napoleon Bonaparte said that Britain was a nation of shopkeepers and we said "hell yeah." It was a proud boast that we are a nation of traders, we, as a nation believed in the free trade of legal products. What has changed?

Tobacco products are still free to purchase and the only thing I can see is the dehumanising of the purchaser...smokers!

Next in line will be the drinkers, under the counter booze then cake shops and fast food outlets will have to have blacked out windows.

Sometimes I think it's all a bad dream and I will wake up and everything will be back to normal???
