According to C.S. Lewis, fake charities such as ASH, pharmaceutical companies and "the righteous" - are actually quite UNrighteous in the eyes of God and paving their pathway to hell. He even makes strong mention of it doing no good to God donating money to fake-charities who are disreputable and dishonest.
From Lewis' "Mere Christianity", very famous book, Book III, Chapter 2, "The Cardinal Virtues", in speaking about why the TRUE righteous, on the CORRECT pathway, to God, in the honest and venerable sense, had they decided not to imbibe in alcohol or other pleasures for any number of reasons, he states that, "But the whole point is that he is abstaining, for a good reason, from something which he does not condemn and which he likes to see other people enjoying. One of the marks of a certain type of bad man is that he cannot give up a thing himself without wanting every one else to give it up. That is not the Christian way. And individual Christian may see fit to give up all sorts of things for special reasons ... but the moment he starts saying the things are bad in themselves or looking down his nose at other people who do use them, he has taken the wrong turning."
Have the Nu-Self-"Righteous" along with their partnership in ASH and the pharmaceuticals ever had to consider the entire other side of the argument from which their constant badgering, maligning, propagandizing, preaching and immoral smoke-banning derives from - and the answer is certainly not.
They've already condemned themselves to hell regardless, unless they make a direct U-turnabout and undo the damage they've already inflicted upon the liberties God wanted others to enjoy while here on this earth as penance for their sins and crimes against humanity.
Of course what does CS Lewis know. ASH certainly knows better - they have pledges to God spread all over their website - so "righteous" they are. Yet - the do not practice even the first and most honorable thing involved in being truly righteous, which is not looking down on others and certainly not taking things to the limit they have taken them thus far and are planning on taking it into the future. ASH is nearly satanic, is certainly NOT Godly though, in what has caused to transpire.
ASH, the pharmaceuticals, other fake-charities and charlatans passing themselves off these days as the Nu-Self-"Righteous" are morally offensive to any person who knows even the slightest about the nature of God, morality and sin. Even a five-year old, if allowed to escape the clutches of the evil propaganda and filthy lies spread in our school system would know the difference between right and wrong - and would call ASH and their sort most definitely wrong - evil - of sin!
If there is karma to be paid, if there is a reaction to every wrongful action, if there is a God in His heaven promising justice to be had - then if not in this generation, then in the generation of the children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren of the Nu-Self-"Righteous" and those of ASH - there will one day most assuredly be a penalty to be paid - and it will be agonizingly painful - when it comes.
