PUBS have taken a real hammering in the past decade.
Says the first sentence. But the cure to the "smoking ban problem" is out of this world:
Erica Dobie and Adam Whittaker might have the answer to this dilemma.
They are running a project called Stars and Stuff which has just been
awarded a £24,000 grant by the Adult and Community
Practical Learning Fund to deliver practical astronomy education in
Darwen to adults and families ‘disengaged from traditional science
institutions such as museums and universities.’ The idea is
that they will deliver a nine-month course in a place where people
feel comfortable and relaxed – like a pub.
I can't describe my feelings on
this pish but I know a man who can,
The Moose, aka Bucko.

Thanks for the honourable mention!
I'm a tad confused. F2C is on my blogroll but hasn't updated for over a month. I thought you were on leave or something. I stumbled on this from the Bolton Smokers Club. What a coincidence.
*Baffle*
Thanks Bucko. As for the blog not updating. It's something to do with the RSS feed and and one of the F2C members made me aware of it a few days ago. I know nothing about RSS feeds and am baffled myself as to how to sort it out. I'll need to do a crash course via google to give the feed a good dose of laxative.
I just removed you from the blogroll then put you back on again.
It works now.
Thanks once again Bucko. I managed to find out what the problem was and found out that since Google took over feedburner it has left a lot of people seething as their blogs no longer update.
It makes me chuckle a little bit when the feedburner stopped at the Stoney Stratford blog piece written the other month and if I didn't know better I'd say Dick Puddlecote had a hand in it. Either that or Google is on the side of non conformist smokers.
