It seems that the publicity that erupted after he was charged £100 for having a quiet smoke in his hotel room by the unfeeling thugs at the Ramada Plaza, readers from around the UK sent in donations to help Cyril pay off this disgusting and unexpected room charge.
Cyril is delighted.
And so are we.
The treatment of our war veterans is shameful. But the attitude of the Ramada drones is much, much worse.
